U8 N Scale No Roofwalk

N scale U8 covered phosphate hopper. These are just like the U12 but without the side rivets, which makes decaling easier. These cars and very similar cars have been hauling phosphate in the Bone Valley phosphate mining region of Central Florida for over 40 years. They are designed for rotary dumper service and have flip top roofs. On this model the roof is separate so that weight can be added to the model. The model is Pre-Assembled. All you have to do is wash, paint, decal, and put on a pair of Micro-Trains Roller Bearing Trucks, a walkway (Plano #250 50' Boxcar Walkway - Slotted Pattern), and a brake wheel.
