Product Description
This is a kit of parts to build a Metropolitan Railway A Class 4.4.0 tank locomotive for 00 gauge. This version portrays a member of the class as they ran towards the end of steam on the Inner Circle service in 1905, fitted with condensing gear, and still having an open cab. After the last member of the class, L45, was withdrawn in 1948, she was taken into Neasden works, and returned to this condition. She can still be seen in the London Transport Museum at Covent Garden carrying her original number 23.
