Suzuki GS500 carburetor slide valve piston

Warning: I did not check this product yet. I do not know how the part behaves if you print it in plastic. If the plastic fails it will be sucked into the engine together with some other parts and this may be fatal for the engine.

Best used in a metal variant. Performance unknown. When printed in metal the slide may go up less high reducing peak power of the engine. Added weight of the metal slides may lead to a more sluggish throttle response.

Metal slides will probably require additional polishing.

 

If you do try the product in plastic and combine them with my slideguide model found here on my shapeways shop, make sure to polish the surfaces first of both the piston and the slide guide.
