Bonsai pot with air pruning base and sides

A round bonsai pot designed to improve the health of tree roots by air pruning. The roots are guided out of the pot by a hexagonal lattice of funnel shaped holes. The funnel shape also prevents root circling. The tips of the roots will then die back and promote more roots to grow higher up, which will in time create a more dense and healthy root ball. In effect this pot does the job of root pruning for you.

The pot has been tested in the sandstone material and is NOT waterproof. The pot is therefore not suitable for bonsai or plants in sandstone.
