This is a pair of 3D printed dial calipers that was designed to be printed in situ. There are 9 parts in this assembly, including 6 gears. The dial face can be rotated 360 and can be locked in position to adjust the zero point. Right now its designed to read out to the nearest 0.005" (inches), with each rotation of the dial being 0.1", and have a total range of 4". I want to validate that this can be made with the SLS processes before I offer it up for sale. Once I do that I will undoubtedly have to cave in to the metric system and offer up a version that does mm.
