If these are printed with a laser sintered plastic with the materials that Shapeways carries they are considered not food safe. They can be sealed to seal the pours int he plastic ss they are basically porous by nature. I use Future floor shine by Pledge, however, any sealer for plastic will work. In theory sealing them fixes the concern of food safety, but, they are still not considered food safe

If you order something offered other than the White Strong and Flexible your print will be dyed whatever color you order. The dye is an acyclic dye
