This adapter allows a Hoover Convertible hose, typically found in the Hoover U4901 tool kits on eBay, to be used on a Hoover Twist/Lock style hose vacuum like the Portapower or Dial-A-Matic. This gives a Portapower owner a wider range of hoses that can be used with their vacuum cleaner. It is designed to remain attached to the Convertible hose and disconnectable from the Portapower.
