About this Product
Edges of a "disdyakis triacontahedron" made of 120 triangles with a colored interior and distorted into an egg shape. These triangles are the fundamental unit of icosahedral symmetry. Their edges form lines that wrap all the way around the object and if it were a sphere, it would be symmetric about each of these bisections. You can group these triangles to visualize many other types of polyhedra such as a dodecahedon (12 pentagons), icosahedron (20 triangles), rhombic triacontahedron (30 diamonds), pentakis (60 triangles), or deltoidal hexecontahedron (60 kites).
