Rata Pod pendant ~ 47mm

~Rata pod pendant~ - a stylised design inspired by a flower pod & leaves of the New Zealand native Rata tree. This pendant is 47mm (1.85 inches) high & includes a sturdy loop on the back of the upper leaf for threading a cord or fine chain, or perhaps attaching a finding to use as a brooch or other decoration. The model was created using 'box' polygon-modeling techniques utilising 2D drawings or images only as reference.The original concept included inserting 12.5mm (1/2 inch) lengths of red-dyed nylon harp strings into holes modeled into the center of the florettes which then have tiny (2.5mm) brass beads on the outer ends.
