Product Description
3mm scale (1:101) model of 3700 'City' class locomotive boiler, smokebox and firebox and backhead. Footplate, frame, wheels, chassis, motion and gears are not included.
The backhead is a separate piece (included in the print) which fits onto the firebox.
As a reference, the model uses the 1957 restoration of 3440 'City of Truro'
The superstructure model will require thorough cleaning of the mould support wax, priming and gentle rubbing down with fine wet-and-dry paper before adding details (boiler fittings, handrails, rear steps, buffers, ejectors, lamp irons, etc) and finishing.
The model assumes chassis, frame, cab, etc would be scratch build
