Propellor Gear Grid is a grid of 26 propellor-shaped gears. The grid is a combination of triangles and squares. After seeing Oskar's
Push Circles Gears, Eric Vergo suggested that a two-layer gear would suffice, resulting in a propellor shape.
Alas, the friction of the 3D-printed nylon turned out to be too big, even after substantial lubrication and breaking in. Subparts of the system rotate, but not the system as a whole. This issue effectively turn this kinetic sculpture into a static piece of colorful art.
