Fully colored material with a coarse finish and a delicate feel.
About this Product
This d60 is based around the strombic hexecontahedron instead of the other valid 60-sided dice shapes, but has holes bored through some of the corners to allow a hollow center. Why? It's a lot cheaper to make one now. They may be fragile in Full Color Sandstone, where they will print with black numbers on a pale purple background, but if you want something more durable I have all materials enabled for this -- even metal and ceramic, though I doubt the numbers would be legible on ceramic's glazed surface. The font used for numbers is BlackRhino, which has sort of an industrial feel to it. It may be possible for the die to land on a hole rather than a face; in that case you should knock or flick the die gently to get it rolling again. UPDATE: If you bought this die before December 4, 2013, it probably has three faces mis-numbered (the circle of numbers starting with 4, 16... had three wrong numbers after that, 26, 38, 50 [which are duplicates]). This has been fixed in new prints of this die and I believe all other hollow dice I make. You should mark one each of the faces labeled 26, 38, and 50 in permanent (possibly colored) ink if you find repeats of them on a copy of your die. The error actually reduces the average, so this was not a loaded die except in games where lower is better.
