This is the Compy Skewb. It is a combination of the Skewb and the Compy Cube (shallow cut Dino Cube). It was conceived after a suggestion from Carl Hoff (wwwmwww on twistypuzzles.com) to make visible all internal parts of my Dino Skewb. The puzzle looks like a cubic Elite Skewb but it only has four layers. The tips do not turn on their own, they are linked to the internal Skewb. This allows them to display both the internal Skewb's corner orientation and permutation. If you want a puzzle with trivial tips, then it is easy enough to use a blade and cut off the blocking part.
This puzzle was suggested to me by Carl Hoff. Visit his shop for more puzzles.

The quality of this puzzle is excellent. Rotation and stability are both very good.
If you order this model, you will get a DIY kit of the plastic parts needed to make this puzzle. You will need to supply your own screws (M3), stickers and springs for assembly.
You can also order an assembled copy of this puzzle from me directly, but this option is more expensive and it will take longer to get your puzzle.
Shapeways has recently changed their pricing making this model much more expensive. I've not yet had the time to optimize this model to be as cheap as posible. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in obtaining this puzzle so we can discuss cheaper options.
