Zirakthargûm Divinity
The Thorgrim Escort Frigate is a dedicated escort vessel being phased in to replace the older escort variant of Bâelgorn Frigate. The Thorgrim is bigger, and though it has less shielding, unlike the Bâelgorn, it is armoured. The Thorgrim does not carry the Bâelgorn's nearly superfluous missile launcher, discarding the limited anti-ship capability in favour of carrying a mix of PD autocannons and longer ranged blaster interdiction systems, allowing it to better support the new generarion's groups of smaller ships.
