Designed by Desiree Cavalancia – Indiana, PA, for Design Museum's Rapid Jewelry Competition.
From the designer: "This neckpiece was inspired by the movement of silk. Often associated with elegance and class, silk is an expensive fabric that is utilized in traditional ceremonial garments. The piece is intended to be printed in nylon because of the flexibility and light weight of the material. My rendering is shown on a body as to hopefully give insight into how the piece should be worn."
