Madness Cubed Puzzle

Geometry:
Madness Cubed is a cubic version of Oskar van Deventer's More Madness puzzle. The puzzle has six axes, one close to the center of each face. Because the axis system is based on the triangular dipyramid rather than the cube, every move is a jumbling and shape-shifting move. The puzzle becomes quite confusing after only a few moves, and can even be hard to scramble due to the challenge of finding viable turning axes.

Other Items Needed:
Dye: If you want the puzzle to be black, you can save money by dyeing the pieces yourself with a nylon dye such as RIT or Dylon. Or Shapeways can dye the parts for you at an additional cost.
Stickers: Template available in the instructions forum. If you want professionally cut stickers, I recommend Oliver’s Stickers.
Screws: Six 12mm M3 pan head screws required, available in hardware stores or on the web.
Springs: Six springs needed, available in web puzzle shops. I get mine from HK Now Store.

Degree of Difficulty:
Assembly: Moderate complexity.
Solving: Very difficult to solve.

Playability:
Madness Cubed turns very easily, but can pop apart if not aligned correctly.
