This model demonstrates how an icosahedron can be found inside an octahedron by dividing each edge according to the golden ratio. If the edge divisions are connected, an icosahedron results. The octahedron here is a wire frame model, and forms convenient hanging loops for the icosahedron.
Does not include a cord or chain for hanging. The hanging holes in the model have a diameter of about 2.5 mm.
