M134 Barrel Clamp 1/24 Scale

Barrel clamp part for a GE M134 Minigun in approx 1/24 scale.  I created this for the Revell 1/24 scale Huey UH-1 Helicopter model kit to replace the twin M60s.

This is intended for use with some 0.7mm & 0.9mm diameter telescoping brass tube (Albion Alloys #SFT2 - not included) to make the actual barrels.  The 0.7mm is used for the barrel sections in the clamp itself and the 0.9mm is used for the part that goes between the thicker clamp disc and the rotor body of the gun.

Some drilling for the 0.7mm holes in the various clamp discs will be needed to clear them out to better accept the brass tubes.  I recommend using a pin vice for this - a fiddly and delicate job!
