About this Product

This is a housing for the NCV3.1-16 nixie tube clock kit. The housing fits over the assembled clock and is held in place with four small screws. I used the screws that were included with the clock kit's standoffs and they fit very nicely. The housing has a clean look to it, but still allows access to the buttons for setting the clock. It also helps keep fingers away from the high voltage components. Note that the buttons are recessed - I can press them with little effort using my fingers, but one may prefer to replace the microswitches with longer ones, or to add extentions to the switches. Either task would be very simple. I am in no way affiliated with the producer of the clock kit, but I will say it was fun and easy to build, it is loaded with excellent software, and looks awesome when finished. I highly recommend the NCV3.1-16 clock kit to anyone interested in building a nixie tube clock in that size and price range. Model is of course for case only. Prototype was printed in strong and flexible white plastic and fit perfectly. Tolerences may be a little loose for a polished model.
