Bird Skull Pendant/Bead

A 50mm pendant version of the Bird Skull model, reduced in scale and with increased wall thickness to enable printing in various Shapeways metals. Modelled directly from anatomical observation, based on the skull of the humble pigeon.

This version of the model has extra holes in the cranium (departing from true anatomical faithfulness!) allowing the pendant to hang on a cord with ideal weight distribution.

It also works beautifully as a bead, creating a very striking necklace when threaded in multiples on a suitable cord. Using a range of different colours from the Versatile Plastics family makes for a stunning yet very affordable piece of costume jewellery!
