55 Ford Wheel 2 Sets

Add a touch of class to your HO scale '55 Ford by Classic Metal Works and replace the wheels with small hubcaps furnished with the model.  These represent the attractive optional full wheel covers applied to most '55 Fairlanes and Town Sedans and many Customlines. (Most folks who bought a Mainline weren't too concerned about appearances, so wouldn't shell out the extra few bucks.)  Although the frosted extreme detail plastic provides a good finish, you may wish to hold the part in a rotating tool (like a hand operated drill) and sand lightly with very fine sandpaper as shown.  I suggest using a file to shorten the front axle .020" (.5mm) and the rear axle .025" (.63 mm).  Mount the tires and twist the wheels onto the axles using finger pressure only.  Equips 2 cars.  Same as the 1 set item but more economical to purchase.
