About this Product

People keep asking me what drive shaft I use for my Wild Willy 4x4. I tried to cut up the stock mrc ones but did end up with shafts that were to short and really did not move any more. So I tried to design some printable ones, this is the result. Initially I did not make them available because they are not perfect, they need some work to get them to function right. because of a few questions about my driveshafts I decided to share them here. People that are buying these need to realize that some work is needed to get these working: - The male one has some extra lenght, to allow room for making the shorter to make them fit to your wheelbase(that may be different to mine). Cut them to make the shorter, sawing leaves a rough edge. -Remove any left over printing dust from the female side then test fit both parts. if they fit and move smoothly, youre done. if not the sides of the male side need to be shaved with an exacto knife (be carefull!!) to make them smooth. Start with shaving of the rough surface, fit them to the female side. If they glide easy, your done, if not carefully shave of another thin layer. untill the glide smoothely. I tried sandpaper too but that does not work as good as a knife. Want to get a set? + +
