Product Description
A set of 1/1250 or 1/1800 scale models of ships involved in the cod wars between the UK and Iceland in the 1970's The ocean going tug Lloydsman, 3 side trawlers, ICGV gunboat Tyr and ICGV Baldur (converted stern trawler).
The side trawler main mast is held between the sprues inbetween the ship hulls. The smaller supporting masts in front of the main mast will need to be added (click for image).
Decorating brush hairs cut to size are ideal for this purpose. I recommend washing the models in very hot (not boiling) water containing dish washing detergent. Once dry, coat with thin varnish before painting.
