The photos shows blackened polished brass and silver. You will get the ring without blackening, but you can do it yourself​ using a boiled egg or special chemicals (just search "How to oxidize silver (or brass)" in the Internet). Later you just buff it with soft wire wool and polish it up on the outside, the crevices will remain black.
