The famous Latin palindrome: in girum imus nocte ecce et consumimur igni

Read it from behind! A very nice gift e. g. for Latin teachers and lovers of language and puns. The translation is “we go wandering at night and are consumed by fire”, which can be understood either in a very philosophical way—or, as it was meant, too, from the perspective of moths/thread-horns/flies being attracted by the bright fire and then flying too close to it.
