Product Description
This part is the bridge throttle as found on Elco 80' PT boats. All parts are to detailed Elco drawings. Included is the grab handle found just aft of the throttle and a jig for placement of the throttle and handle. Also included is an extra ratchet and grab handle with slightly thicker thin areas. A template for cutting an indicator window (or use as the window) is included as well as a plate for the indicator text.

Preparation
The first step is to clean all parts thoroughly. Handle very carefully as the plastic is brittle. Please see the guide and links here: http://www.pt103.com/3D_Printed_PT_Boat_Parts.html. For best painting results be sure to follow cleaning with a UV cure from a lamp with the correct output, or the sun.

Assembly
Remove the jig and attached small parts carefully.
Remove the small parts, be sure to leave the pins on the grab handle and ratchet.
Use the window template to cut a window from thin clear plastic or use the template as a window. Or use a liquid glass to create the window.
Raised text on the text plate is very small, it may or may not be legible. Print the available "NEUTRAL NEUTRAL NEUTRAL" if not. Install the plate until it bottoms out at the depth location ears. When glueing, make sure the text reads the right way.
Use the jig to drill holes for the grab handle. The jig should be placed with the port side in line with the inside faces of the bridge framing, and the starboard side against the edge of the control panel. The bottom edge should me against the bridge angled panel. See the images. Elco drawings specify the center of the throttle quadrant to be 43.875" port of boat center line.
Install throttle and grab handle.
Install ratchet after throttle is attached.
Throttle plate text: http://www.pt103.com/images/3D_parts/3DP_Elco_80_Throttle_Text.png. A note on the Elco drawing mentions that the letters are to be painted fluorescent Conti-Glo P-10.
