Product Description
This model provides the sideframes and bearings for a typical "Hawaiian Cane Car" such as those manufactured by Gregg, Koppel and so on. The bearings are representations of the later style of springs. The sprues holding the two frames together during manufacture can be cut in half and used with drilled 1.25mm/0.050" holes to securely attach these sideframes to the underbody of a constructed car. The bearings have 2.5mm diameter recesses for the installation of pinpoint bearings or bronze bushings. These sideframes are gauge independent. Space the supporting frame members appropriately to give the correct spacing for your gauge and wheelsets.
