Welcome!
This cookie cutter I originally designed for my son's 10th kids birthday party. Although he has not seen many of these movies yet, he is -- as probably most youngsters of his age -- inspired by all sorts of "superheros", first of all by the legendary Batman and Spiderman. So as a special surprise for him and a real blast for his party I came up with the idea of a cookie cutter that features both, a Spider and a Bat, in a single cookie.
The outer "Bat" is the actual cutter which gives the cookies their special shape. The second layer is 2 mm (~0.08 inches) higher and imprints the "Spider" onto the cookie. The third layer is again 2 mm (~0.08 inches) higher and not just imprints the "Spider Net", but also gives this cookie cutter its amazing unique look.
In order to get best results roll your dough to about 5-6 mm (0.20-0.24 inches) thickness so that the imprints get deep enough to become clearly visible on the cookies after baking.
Enjoy your cookies unglazed or further decorated with royal icing or whatever you and your children like most.
Have a Merry Christmas!
Yours Sven

P. S. The cookie cutter on the first picture was printed on my personal 3D printer. Printed via Shapeways will result in even better print quality.
