027003-02 Blackfoot & F150 Tail Lamp Housings

Lights for the Blackfoot! Here is something we have been waiting for since the SRB Ranger came out in the early 1980's! AMPro is proud to finally give your F150 some illumination! This kit will require some skill (and minor trimming in some cases due to variation in the Tamiya molds) to install such as cutting off the tail lights and drilling mounting holes or cutting out the faux headlight lenses. Most of these parts will need to be finished in an appropriate color and it is highly encouraged that the inside of the headlamp and tail lamp buckets are coated in a couple coats of silver to increase reflectivity as well as limit or eliminate light bleeding through the plastic. As an added option, these will accept two 3mm LED's in each housing for scale light operations with no visible exterior wires. All screw holes must be cleaned out prior to screw installation as the 3D printing process can fill them with leftover material. Please select "print it anyway" when adding all items to your cart. It is possible that depending on the material, some may or may not have the option. Glue may be necessary on some of the parts to attach them to the body. Pleas note that these housings are a very tight fit between the tailgate and rear fenders. Clearance between the two is nearly zero.
