i-Lens Trefoil

These i-Lens earrings feature a minimal surface bridging the external circle of the i-Lens together with an internal trefoil (with a non singular orientable surface). The surface itself is inspired by the amazing wood-art of Michael Foster. It has been created using standard trigonometric equations for the trefoil knot and the wonderful Surface Evolver optimizer, and then transformed into earrings using blender.

This surface is also available as traditional earrings and as a larger four centimeter pendant.
