Product Description
This design revives the 'Pince Nez' style glasses that were popular in the beginning of the 20th century. Somewhat forgotten, these types of glasses have a lot going for them: they're super small and portable (great to have around as an extra pair of sunglasses or reading glasses) and it's hard to describe the sensation of wearing glasses without the need to fix them on your ears. You can do your hair with your glasses on! And I probably don't have to mention that you'll be the hippest boy or girl on the block. 'Pince Nez' features a flexible bridge, holding on to many sizes and shapes of nose with only a minimal amount of pressure.
The polyamide used to manufacture these glasses is strong yet flexible, and can be washed (even dishwashed!) after removing the lenses. This material tends to smoothen and fade slightly with wear, not unlike, for instance, jeans textile. 'Pince Nez' is designed to adapt to many different nose sizes and shapes, though there are exceptions. If you know you have almost no bridge on your nose, you might have difficulty fixing them on your nose; if you have a very wide nose, they will probably fit but might flare out too much. For most men, this model is intended to appear as slightly undersized glasses; with most women, or men with smaller heads, the size will be closer to regular sized glasses.
