Zoom H1 Isolation Mount v2

This is an isolation mount for the Zoom H1 audio recorder to reduce the amount of handling noise that the recorder can pick up. All buttons and switches remain completely accessible and it works in almost any orientation. Handling noise is greatly reduced. If desired, you can get a simple metal camera shoe mount and mount the recorder in your camera's hot shoe. IMPORTANT: This item is NOT a completely assembled mount!!! It includes ONLY the two 3D printed pieces! TO COMPLETE THIS MOUNT YOU WILL NEED: one 1/4-20 nut, one 1/4-20 x 0.25" bolt, and several small rubber bands (probably 6). If you wish to mount this on your camera you will also need the 1/4-20 to camera shoe mount, which can be ordered from places like Amazon for only a few dollars. While cheaper options can be built from plans on the internet, they look very amateurish, block controls with rubber bands, and could more easily drop your Zoom H1. This mount looks more professional and offers more security while maintaining full access to all controls. Note that the photographs in this listing are of the first version of this mount. For version 2 (what you'll get and what is shown in the 3D renders) the mount was strengthened, more clearance was added, and the platform that attaches to the recorder was reduced in size to improve balance.
