Dell ST2220 VESA Bracket Adapter

Are you like me? One of the unfortunate souls who went a bought a monitor and it doesn't have VESA mounting capability? Well I am very happy with my Dell ST2220 monitors, great monitors, great quality, great price but I needed them off my desk. I could not find adapters anywhere...so I drew one up myself! This model works for certain on the DELL ST2220 model. It is VESA 75 compatible. This bracket is designed to use 4 #6 nuts which drop in place and crazy glue. In addition, you will need two metric 3mm, 20mm long flat head screws. Drop the nuts in place, glue them down. take the monitor and remove the desk stand. remove the two black screws on the back of the monitor near the mounting bracket area (very important for added stability and securing the unit). Slide this bracket into place until it locks. Take the two 3mm X 20mm long flat head philips screws and screw them in where the two small shorter screws were. Attach your VESA mounting arm and enjoy having more desk space!
