Product Description
The production of the Landing Vehicle Tracked (LVT) 1 Alligator started in August 1941 and stopped in favour of an advanced model after 1225 vehicles leaving the factory. They saw action in the first amphibious battles of Guadacanal, Soloman Islands, Tarawa and Makin Island. Set of 6, 4 x unarmored, 2 x armored.
Die Produktion des Amphibienfahrzeuges Landing Vehicle Tracked (LVT) 1 Alligator begann im August 1941 und endete nach einer Produktion von 1225 Fahrzeugen 1943 zugunsten einer verbesserten Variante. Die Fahrzeuge wurden während der ersten amphibischen Landungsoperationen im Pazifik in der Schlacht um Guadalcanal, den Salomonen, Tarawa und Makin Island eingesetzt. 6er Satz mit 4 x ungepanzerten und 2 x gepanzerten LVT.
