Watch my video! "Andru Waves Hello" is a project to help Andru, a humble USB charger, to wave his arms. I 3D printed a component (White Strong & Flexible) and used it to connect Andru to a gearmotor. Unfortunately, the component I designed wasn't quite right, so Andru danced a little jig instead of waving his arms.
This 3D printed piece was the second iteration (the first one didn't fit). There'll be a few more before Andru can actually wave. This project is a good example of the rapid prototyping capabilities of 3D printing. With a Form1 printer, I can iterate the designs even faster, turning prototypes into products.
