A pair of cufflinks representing the infinity of the Möbius Band: a strip that has a 180º twist before being joined together.
This surface has the following properties:
This surface has the following properties:
- It has just one face while beeing in 3 dimensions: If you start coloring the surface with a brush, you would end up coloring the whole surface without lifting the brush. It has no inner and outer faces.
- It has just one edge: If you start following the edge with one finger, you end up in the starting point without lifting the finger from the edge or touching any vertices.
- It is non-orientable: If a person lies in the surface looking to the right side, after making a full turn around the surface, he will be looking to the left.
- If split at the exact half, a longer Möbius band will result. If it is cut again at the exact middle, two interlaced bands will result. Succesive cuts will result in more linked bands.
