The t'hy'la ring is a powerful symbol of loyalty and love, whether worn in celebration the most famous example of the t'hy'la bond (between Capt. James T. Kirk and his first officer, Mr. Spock) or gifted to tell someone "I always have been, and ever shall be, yours."
