Product Description
This shape can be described a few different ways. It's 12 stars, joined at the tips; 20 icosahedron cups joined at the edges; 6 crimped hoops that form a cage. The inner surface of the sphere is an icosidodecahedron, surrounded by 60 thin ribs.
The walls have been thickened to allow for the shape to be fabricated in acrylic & metal.
This shape was designed by calculating the vectors on paper, then rendered using OpenSCAD.
Diameter is 5.6 cm (2.2 in).
