Product Description
4 pair of N scale 9 foot General Steel Castings passenger trucks of the CP "type 1b" pattern as used under Canadian Pacific smoothside cars built between 1940 and 1954. Many of these cars later served the CN, Algoma Central, Dakota & Minnesota Eastern and others.
Includes brake and cylinder details, and almost everything else visible on the prototype. The "aa" indicates journals are of the round original factory type on both axles. Over the years these cars acquired a variety of journal types, often mixed. Send a photo and I can match the trucks.
Mounts with a common bolster pin or screw to Gooderham car kits. Requires 36" new standard or low profile wheelsets (MT, FVM, Atlas etc with .540" length axles). Others may also fit, and 33" wheels look okay too.

Because of their small size and fine detail, Frosted Ultra Detail is the preferred material.

Clean with alcohol before painting. Use toothbrush soaked in Bestine rubber cement remover if particularly greasy. Enamels or acrylics recomended.
