3/4" Scale Southern Railway Ms-4 & Ps-4 Rear Frame

Taken directly from the drawings, this is a 3/4" scale version of the rear frame cradle used on both the Southern Railway Ms-4 Mikados and the Ps-4 Pacifics. This rear frame cradle is different than the version used on a standard USRA Pacific of Mikado in that the design allowed for the spacing between the rear driver and the trailing truck to be ten inches longer, hence allowing for a slightly larger firebox. Some complicated coring and cast ribs have been excluded and replaced by solid pieces, mostly in the space at the front and rear of the model, to allow for simplicity in the casting and printing process
