Product Description
The first class of USN "treaty cruisers" and commissioned early 1928; mainly distinguishable by the triple 8" superfiring over the duals, and the flushdeck hull.
The model can also represent her sister ship CA25 Salt Lake City. Both ships participated in the Pacific campaign and survived WWII, and were later used as test vessels for Operation Crossroads: the US atomic bomb experiments at the Bikini Atolls.

1/1250: extra images show gun turrets conencted to the main hull via wires; these need to be snipped off in order to free them. Some material/support may be trapped in between.
