About this Product

D3 die that has been obtained by cylindrical filleting 3 of 12 edges of a trigonal trapezohedron. It has three convex two-part faces and can rest only on flat face segments. A cube can be used as a basis however this gives a bit longer distance between vertices. In general any polyhedron having set of faces that can be divided into three equal, complementary and compact sets of faces may be used as a basis. A regular dodecahedron or gyro-elongated trigonal bipyramid are examples of such solids. The die can be dextro- or laevo-gyrous.
