About this Product

this is an object which allows you to understand and experiment with the properties and dynamics of seifert surfaces. the wire structure is that of a coil with the ends connected, but when submerged in a soap solution, the bubble film adheres to it and forms a seifert surface, by popping the connection in the middle, it isolates just the bubble film held by the wire structure and reveals a surface, a mobius strip made of bubble. this is one of many such tools for understanding seifert surfaces.
