Geometry:
The Curvy-10 puzzle is based on my Fracture-10 puzzle, but with additional parts visible due to the use of curved cuts. These curves allow the axles of the puzzle to show, and requires them to be oriented correctly in order to solve the puzzle. Curvy-10 is for those who thought Fracture-10 was too easy!
Other Items Needed:
Dye: If you want the puzzle to be black, you can save money by dyeing the pieces yourself with a nylon dye such as RIT or Dylon. Or Shapeways can dye the parts for you at an additional cost.
Stickers: Template available in the
instructions forum. If you want professionally cut stickers, I recommend
Oliver’s Stickers.
Screws: Seven 12mm M3 pan head screws required, available in hardware stores or on the web.
Springs: Seven springs needed, available in web puzzle shops. I get mine from
HK Now Store.
Degree of Difficulty:
Assembly: Easy assembly.
Solving: Very difficult to solve.
Playability:
Curvy-10 has a very robust mechanism that does not pop apart, and turns very easily.
Have fun!
