Product Description

I present the Ring XVII; designed to hold five 2x6mm tritium vials (not included) in cavities across the ring's face.
This model has been designed for printing in either Silver, Brass, Bronze, Gold, or Platinum if you're feeling adventurous.

The sizing of this ring model is 21.4mm internal diameter, a UK Y (US 12).
The design can be scaled up indefinitely, but any scaling down, below a US 9, may require the loosing of a tritium vial, to keep the overall shape of the ring.
If you would like a specific size then please send me a message or post the request below.

The tritium vials should be set using a UV activated optically clear adhesive such as Norland 61 or Loctite glass bond. These adhesives will cure in direct sunlight in an hour or so.
The ring in the pictures has had it's vials completely potted using Norland, with the adhesive being flush with the outer profile of the ring, giving excellent protection to the vials from impacts.

This ring is just one of many Tritium Ring designs I have created. The rendered pictures show the various rings that I can make available. As well as selling the ring bodies on Shapeways, I can also offer fully assembled tritium rings, with the full range of vial colour options (green, yellow, orange, red, purple, deep blue, ice blue and white), set using Norland adhesive. So please contact me if any of the other designs take your fancy, or you would like an assembled ring.
