Product Description
Norfolk Southern Crescent (rev 3.0.0) of this cab has been modified to reflect actual dimensions of the Crescent Cab. All changes from Revision 2 of the cab are minor (removal of irrelevent surface details, addition of others, minute feature size adjustments, etc). The major difference are the addition of the proper angles on top of the short hood. These features are hardly noticable in most photos of the actual locomotives but can be seen if the photo is at the proper angle. This model also includes molded-in handgrab drill spots so you can add these details. The headlight cavity is designed to fit an Ngineering.com micro LED. Light pipes will work if you choose to go this route. This cab is intended to fit on the Atlas SD50/60 shell. It is not possible to re-use the existing SD50/60 windows. Now offering in Frosted Extreme Detail material. Please note that I have not tested the FXD material for fit/finish. I have heard through other modelers that there are size difference in the two printing processes. I expect that it won't be enough of a difference to cause problems.
