HO 1/87 GSI 'General 70' Inboard-bearing Commuter Truck Frames. Fits Walthers Comet commuter cars and bearings are designed for scale 33" wheels with .078" axle diameter. (The stock Walthers wheelsets are too large, so Bachmann Spectrum series 33" wheelsets with the axle end points filed flat are recommended.) Use a 3/32" drill bit in a handheld pin vise to drill out the wheel bearings and use a sharp X-Acto knife to remove any burrs from that operation. Then, snap in the wheelsets so that the insulated side of the wheelset is on the 'flat' side of the truck bearings (the other side has a raised spacer around the bearing for the non-insulated side). Trucks should roll freely, with no friction. One pair does one car. Prints in BSF.
