On3 DSP&P Type "A"/Litchfield Trucks, 2 pair

These trucks are traditionally referred to by modeler's as the DSP&P Type "A". I believe that these are a Litchfield truck as they were used under the Litchfield cars on the South Park (26' boxcars and flat/coal cars). Coronado Scale Models offers a brass version of these with out the extensions for truck mounted brakes. I've created these to to compliment the Coronado trucks. Much of the higher cost for these is in the heavy beams, notably the transoms, used in their swing motion design. I've tried to reduce it as much as I can. These are designed to use 26" wheelsets with Grandt Line style axles...available from NWSL and Foothill Model Works. Both offer these in both On3 and On30. Be careful to file the axle ends (make sure there aren't any sharp burs). If they aren't free-rolling, clean the axle holes with a drill bit the same size as the axles (#51 I think).
