Porch Swing Foot (1)

Several years ago we purchased a 2-person canopied porchswing. The legs were 2-inch diameter steel tubes with plastic feet to prevent the steel legs from scarring the wooden deck. After several years of year round outdoor exposure the feet began to split and crack. This was partially due to there was no drain hole in the foot to allow water and condensation to escape the feet and legs. We contacted the manufacturer and were informed that they no longer made that swing and could not provide any replacement parts. With the exception of the feet, the swing was still in very good condition. So, I grabbed my calipers, ruler and protractor and designed this replacement foot. I have printed several of these for myself and my brother, and they work wonderfully.
