Zoomgear for Olympus M.ZUIKO 12‑50 and PT-EP10

This is a Zoomgear for the Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-50mm to use with the Olympus Underwater Housing PT-EP10.

Version 0.9 (beta).
First: It works! It works fine with the manual and with the electromagnetic zoom.
The Set Contains an Objective Adapter and a Gear Part.

How mount the Zoom Gear:
Put the Objective Adapter over the objective. The Adapter has two sides. One straight and one chamfered side. Please make sure, that you mount Objective Adapter in the right direction. The chamfered side of the Objective Adapter must be directing to the camera body (see Image). For easier use, you can simply paint a marking on the Objective Adapter to quick find the right orientation.
The Gear Part must be pushed from the front of the objective, in direction to the Camera. The geared side is directed to the Camera. First align the knobs of the Objective Adapter with the cutouts of the Gear Part. The last knobs are not fitting exactly in the cutouts. You need to Push with a gentle force the Gear Part over the Objective Adapter. That will fix the Objective Adapter on the Objective. Push the Gear Part over the Objective Adapter, until there is 10 mm space between the Gear-part and the camera.

If you push the Gear Part you over the Objective Adapter, you normally push the zoom-ring of the objective to the manual-zoom setting.
If you want use e-zoom push the Gear-part over the Objective Adapter until the knobs reach the ent of the Gear Part. Now push use the gear-part into the opposite direction, so that the zoom-ring of the objective is going into the e-zoom position.

Because I have not tested it over a longer time, I put the Zoom Gear as “Beta”.
There are also some strange Polygons. But this is only “optical problem“. It works for me, so I will collect some experiences before I go into the next design iteration step. I will be happy of any feedback.
